Engaging, entertaining, and fast-moving, Bach in Time is the Washington Bach Consort's new educational program for third graders.
The fun, interactive program is performed by costumed professional musicians and actor/director Ryan Sellers. Students learn basic principles of music and are introduced not only to the musical instruments used by Bach, but to the composer himself through the magic of time travel!
Teachers receive packages of classroom materials that follow the guidelines of the Washington DC school music program.
Bach in Time is presented in collaboration with the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative's Arts for Every Student program and the Sitar Arts Center.
